The Tasmanian Tiger Flat Medic backpack is an intelligent-designed, purpose-built medical pack with a clearly laid-out interior featuring removable panels with adjustable bungee cords.
The MOLLE system on the front and sides is laser cut. The shoulder straps can be removed and kept in a hook-and-loop-secured pouch on the back. The backpack comes with webbing so it can be adapted to a plate carrier system or over a waistcoat.
The MK II pack is a larger size than the SMALL version, which allows, even more room to carry medical products, without taking up too much real estate on your back. It is the perfect pack for a SWAT Team entry medic or Special Operations Medic that requires high mobility.

“The TT Small Medic Pack MkII is a low-profile backpack, designed to carry essential medical equipment in a very compact package. It can be used with adjustable shoulder straps or adapter straps that allow direct attachment to a plate carrier. I loaded the pack with basic supplies, and had one of my tactical medics run it through SWAT school.
The following observations are based on his feedback. The shoulder straps are easily adjustable and very comfortable. The pack fit easily over a soft armor carrier with added rifle plates, and stayed securely fastened to the body without shifting. The exterior has laser-cut MOLLE for attachment of additional pouches; we added an accessory pouch that stayed attached with no issues of loosening or moving.
There is a large, flat front pocket that was utilized for a SAM splint and ace wrap, and an external “scissors bag” for trauma shears. The interior is small, with removable bungee cord panels to secure supplies. With some trial and error, we were able organize multiple tourniquets, trauma bandages, and gauze. A transparent pouch held chest seals, tape, and eye shields. Elastic loops on the interior side walls held nasophargngeal airways. Gear was packed tight but was readily visible and quickly accessible.
Even after SWAT school and several weeks of additional testing, the pack looks brand-new, with no signs of wear. The small size means that supplies that can be carried are limited. For the basic-level tactical medical provider, this is not a problem.
For higher level providers, finding room for more advanced medical supplies (even a BVM) requires adding additional pouches externally. The modular design
allows for this, and the pack appears tough and well-manufactured. If a very compact medical pouch fits your mission, give this a look. “
